Production Description
420 stainless steel is a kind of Martensite stainless steel, with certain wear resistance and corrosion resistance, hardness is higher characteristics. It is 420 "edge grade" martensitic steel, similar to brinell high chromium steel, the earliest stainless steel. Its price is the lower class of stainless steel ball, suitable for stainless steel ordinary requirements of the working environment. 420 stainless steel is suitable for all kinds of precision machinery, bearings, electrical equipment, instruments, meters, transportation tools, household appliances and so on. It is mainly used to make parts which are resistant to atmospheric, steam, water and oxidizing acid corrosion. Chemical composition: carbon C: 0.16~0.25; Mn: ≤1.00; Silicon Si: ≤1.00; Chromium Cr: 12.0~14.0; Nickel Ni② : ≤0.75; Phosphorus P: ≤0.04; S: sulfur 0.03 or less
